Sometimes Whole Foods came be a little hard on our wallets, with 15 dollars salads and 8 dollar organic apple juice. But what if I told you I found a loophole in the system? At least for the La Jolla location I have, and it's only if you order burrito bowls. Let me explain in detail:
Order a burrito bowl right?
But before you start telling them to pack on the guac and pico de gallo salsa, make sure you save that for later...
But first just make sure you get your meat and maybe even your rice, THAT'S IT.
They will then proceed to put your burrito bowl in the salad containers so that its easier for you to check it out at the counter, and they'll put a little sticker on your salad box with the price of your burrito bowl.
This is where the loophole lies....
The proceed to the buffet area, and because your salad bowl looks as though you are just getting a salad, you're really adding more shit to your burrito bowl, making it heavier, making it technically more expensive, but no one ever knows because the sticker only claims that your bowl is 6 bucks or whatever.
Ahh! I did a good deed today, and i hope you guys try it out!
But don't tell them who told you!
