FIRST DAY OF WORK :D

MORNING COMMUTE:
Waking up at 8:30 am ain't that bad. And it's not really taking a toll on my energy after staying in an office for 8 hours....

Took the Metro red line for the first time today. walked in there with my headphones firmly intact, blasted up my coolest music..because that made me walk more confidently and less prone to creepy homeless men who want to chat. bought my ticket with no problem and sat my ass on the train like i owned it.

but then 5 stops later, realized i got on the wrong train..keep your cool. asked the cop,even flirt with him a little after getting my head chopped off for eating at the station, hopped back onto the red line and got off at my stop.

FREEWAVES OFFICE.
if fucking tight. everything i expected and 100 times more. since the office is located right between highland and vine, my boss and my fellow intern friend took a tour of the infamous blvd that will be the theme of freewaves biennial event: HOLLDWOULD.

Found out that they are renting out spaces at the roosevelt hotel, getting dj spooky to spin some tunes at the kodak theatre, and was even interested in teaming up with some people i know! (will tell you once its confirmed)

FOund out ill be involved in getting the businesses participate in showing media art for the event...sux though that i wont see the fruits of my labor in october because of France!

RUSHING HOME:
Found out LACE below our offices is throwing an art gallery opening tonight, WITH FREE BOOZE. but i had to rush home and watch the rest of the lakers game.

Btw....the metro stations have really cool art. u should check it out on day and ride it.
